Emery Murphy Design is a new and upcoming Interior Design Company. Founded in 2022, EMD focuses its design on creating a timeless and transitional space that will turn your home into your very own sanctuary. Emery Murphy Design caters to your personal style while combining its own unique design features to create a space that maximizes function while having a beautiful style. Our goal is to pinpoint your design style and ways to enhance your space and benefit your life.

Meet the Founder
Emery Murphy is a recent graduate from High Point University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design. Since graduating in May, Emery has officially kickstarted the interior design company Emery Murphy Design! She is influenced by both timeless and transitional design, taking inspiration from previous employers as well as through her experiences traveling. When not designing, Emery enjoys, reading, creating graphics and digital designs, as well as traveling!
Emery is currently based out of Boston, focusing her projects in New England but is working towards broadening her horizons with Emery Murphy Design. As well as growing her knowledge in graphic design, Emery uses software such as Revit, Autocad, Photoshop, Illustrator, as well as other various Adobe services.

Conceptual Design & Remodel
EMD often collaborates with architects, builders, and craftspeople to create a set of schematic plans clients can provide to contractors to obtain construction bids. They typically involve a base plan of the existing space, a scaled 2D plan with detailed information, and a 3D model to provide clients and collaborators with a strong visual representation of the space including materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings.

Room Layout & Furnishings
If you don't need construction but want help with space planning and furniture selection, this service is for you. This can encompass concept development and furniture layout followed by furniture and accessory selection and procurement. Layout & Furnishings often includes but isn't limited to sourcing of furniture, lighting, antiques, and artwork, window treatments, custom furniture design, and sourcing and styling of accessories.

Virtual Design
Virtual Design services can ensure your project is successful without the cost of full service interior design. Virtual design services are for the “DIY” client who wants help with room layout and furnishings but will implement all design ideas themselves. This is conducted online with no site visit, but instead submits an existing floor plan drawing with dimensions and photos along with a Pinterest mood board, with a space concept in return.
